
WASHINGTON, DC (4 March 2013) – Diplomats from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Embassy in Washington, DC Dr. Saghira Al Ahbabi – Second Secretary, Political Department, and Saud Al Nowais – UAE Commercial Counselor recently traveled to Sacramento, California where they met with government officials and business leaders to discuss the growing commercial ties between the state of California and the UAE, and to explore areas for future collaboration. June 2, 2011 - UAE Embassy, Washington, DC – The Media Department hosted students and staff of the Ibrahim Leadership and Dialogue Project for an orientation session on the UAE for their upcoming trip to Dubai. The project, sponsored by the Ibrahim Family Foundation (IFF) and administered by the Institute of the International Education (IIE), enables the group to gain firsthand experience with dialogue efforts in the Middle East. Following the orientation session in Washington, DC, the students will embark on a two-week tour of the Middle East. Mr. Bader Bin Saeed, Head of the Media Department, gave the group a detailed introduction on the UAE and led an open discussion.
UAE Embassy Diplomats Conduct Regional Outreach Visit to Ohio
Houston, Texas (13 May 2013): The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) & its Group of Companies had made their presence felt once again at the Offshore Technology Conference and Exhibition (OTC 2013), which was held in Houston, Texas (USA) from 6-9 May 2013.
The company participated for the third consecutive year in this foremost global event with a high level delegation comprising CEOs and senior executives.
Abu Dhabi’s renewable energy company, and the Export Import Bank of the United States sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore opportunities to support U.S. exports of future UAE renewable energy projects.
