The UAE Embassy hosted a dinner for students and faculty from American University’s (AU) School of International Service and Center for International Peace & Conflict Resolution. During the dinner, Mr. Bader Bin Saeed, head of the Embassy’s Media Section, briefed the scholars on the UAE’s role as a source of stability in the region, and on the charitable initiatives the UAE is carrying out world-wide.
The International Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR) program began in the 1980’s as the result of an initiative by the students in AU’s School of International Service, who asked for the creation of a program in peace and conflict resolution studies.
