Commercial Invoices & Shipping Documents
Beginning October 5th 2015, The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Washington DC will legalize and authenticate all commercial documents that are certified by Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP’s Washington, DC office only. For detailed instructions and relevant forms, please click here.
Documents certified by any other entity will not be accepted nor legalized by the Embassy.
Please note the National U.S-Arab Chamber of Commerce (NUSACC) certification stamp will no longer be accepted after October 9th 2015.
Requirements for Commercial Invoices
- The Embassy accepts money orders or cashier's check only, made payable to: The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates.
- A Certificate of Origin ($45 fee for each)
- Commercial invoice fee (see below)
- Any other certificate, as required
