The UAE Embassy extends its warmest greetings to the hundreds of UAE students who travel each year to the United States in pursuit of higher education and professional training. The Embassy, through the Cultural Division, provides critical services to assist each student in navigating his or her path to academic success.
The Cultural Division’s mission is two-fold:
- To manage and administer scholarships for UAE students sponsored by the following agencies: Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the United Arab Emirates University in Al Ain, the Presidential Scholarship Program, Dubai Police, the Ministry of Health, and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority.
- To serve as a resource concerning academic matters for all UAE students studying in the United States.
This section contains information and guidance regarding topics of interest for new and continuing UAE students. General procedures and requirements relevant to student scholarships, salary, health coverage, and immigration regulations are all included.
Transitioning to life and study in a foreign country is not an easy challenge. But remember that UAE students are not alone. The UAE Embassy will help ensure that time spent studying in the United States is rewarding and successful, both personally and academically.
