Philanthropy
Since its founding, the UAE has been committed to providing humanitarian assistance and emergency relief. This follows in the footsteps of the late founder and first President of the UAE, HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, whose acts of philanthropy set an example for all Emiratis to look to.
In that spirit, the UAE readily assists those in need across the US. After major hurricanes, tornados and other natural disasters, the UAE has lent a helping hand to affected communities.
The UAE maintains active partnerships with several leading US hospitals, providing support to improve research and care. The Embassy has also supported a community soccer field program, working with local partners to build ten all-weather fields in underserved communities around the US.
