Support the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) of Florida at the 5K UAE Healthy Kidney Run! Kidney disease and related conditions afflict over 37 million Americans each year. The NKF of Florida works to prevent kidney disease, accelerate medical innovation and support local kidney patients and their families.
A post-race community festival will take place at the finish line in Regatta Park – promising fun for the whole family! The festival, featuring activities for all ages, will include live entertainment, giveaways and raffle prizes, a photo booth and authentic Emirati cultural experiences.
Since 2005, the UAE Embassy in Washington, DC has brought together nearly 100,000 runners to raise awareness about kidney disease, in honor of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE’s first President and a kidney transplant recipient. Organizations across the UAE and US are working together to support healthy lifestyles and advance medical research.
