Virtual Ramadhan Iftar

For the second year in a row, Dana Al Marashi, Head of Cultural Diplomacy, brought friends and colleagues from across the ocean together to celebrate Ramadhan with a virtual Iftar. Dana hosted the intimate gathering, “Together Apart” with 11 guests from both the US and the UAE and, for the first time, Israel. Notable guests included Robin Solomon, Counselor for Public Affairs at the US Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Tammy Ben-Haim, Minister of Public Diplomacy at the Embassy of Israel, Sara Andon, world-renowned flutist. The diners shared stories about their own traditions and their personal experiences with Ramadhan, the UAE and Iftar.
