The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Washington, DC co-hosted a roundtable discussion with The Meridian Center for Cultural Diplomacy on the impact the COVID crisis has had on the fields of architecture, architectural photography, and building environment.

The virtual program also highlighted the November 2019 delegation of U.S.-based architects, architectural photographers, historians, curators, and writers that visited the UAE. The group toured and documented architectural landmarks of the region while gaining a deeper understanding of the early history of urban development in the Emirates.

Participants on the program included the delegation members along with three architectural scholars based in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah.
