UAE’s Presence as a Global Hub for The Arts: A Discussion with Louvre Abu Dhabi Director Manuel Rabaté

The UAE Embassy in Washington DC partnered with the French Embassy to celebrate the 2-year anniversary of Louvre Abu Dhabi.  As part of the Cultural Diplomacy Discussion Series, the Embassy hosted a luncheon and panel with Manuel Rabaté, Director of Louvre Abu Dhabi, Dr. Souraya Noujaim, Louvre Abu Dhabi’s Scientific, Curatorial & Collections Management Director, and Joud Al Marar, Louvre Abu Dhabi’s Strategic Institutional and Government Relations Manager. The event was moderated by Dr. Chase Robinson, Director of the Smithsonian’s Freer Sackler Gallery.  The panel underscored the importance of the partnership between the UAE and France, and the UAE’s presence as a global hub for creativity and the arts.
