Expansive Digital Storytelling Program Produced by the UAE Embassy in Washington, DC Features Astronauts, Artists, Teachers, Doctors, Presidents and More

In 2024, UAE and US partners are making significant progress to address the environmental impact of agriculture. Despite the fact that food production accounts for a third of the world’s emissions, climate action in this critical area often takes a back seat. The Agriculture Innovation Mission for Climate (AIM4C), led by our two countries, is changing that by introducing more sustainable approaches to growing and consuming food.

In the presence of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the UAE has announced its participation in developing a module on Nasa’s Lunar Gateway Station alongside the USA, Japan, Canada and the European Union, in addition to sending the first Emirati astronaut into lunar orbit as part of the project.
