On December 2, the Ambassador to the United States, Yousef Al Otaiba, hosted a reception in honor of the UAE’s 53rd National Day. The event took place at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in downtown Washington, DC, celebrating the strong partnership between the UAE and the US, rooted in a shared vision of progress and prosperity. The reception was attended by guests and Embassy staff who have supported this growing relationship.

In celebration of the sixth anniversary of the Sheikh Khalifa Stroke Institute (SKSI) at Johns Hopkins University and to mark World Stroke Day, Dr. Maha Barakat, Assistant Minister at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland (US) for consultations with physicians and faculty who are fundamentally transforming care for those affected by stroke and improving patient outcomes.
