COP28 Director-General Ambassador Majid Al Suwaidi and US Deputy Special Envoy for Climate Sue Biniaz met in Washington on Friday, July 21 as part of ongoing coordination between the UAE’s COP28 organizing team and the Office of the US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate. Following COP28 President-Designate Dr. Sultan Al Jaber’s remarks in Brussels last week, Ambassador Al Suwaidi briefed Deputy Special Envoy Biniaz on the UAE’s updated agenda for the climate summit, to be held in Dubai later this year.
