“Road to Abu Dhabi” Documentary Screening

Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba, Dr. Timothy Shriver, Chairman of Special Olympics, and Senator Roy Blunt cohosted a reception to commemorate the one-year anniversary of Abu Dhabi’s 2019 Special Olympics World Games and the athletes who participated. The Embassy-produced documentary, “Road to Abu Dhabi,” was screened during the event. The documentary follows the lives of three Special Olympics athletes as they prepared to participate in the 2019 games, featuring interviews with athletes, family members and Special Olympics organizers.
